As a nurse manager in an older facility with small rooms, I have really seen the RNs struggle for space.  Our patient’s are bigger and so is their equipment.  The Livengood platforms have allowed us to maximize our space with our most acute SCI patients.  We can now manage their ventilator suction equipment, IV and PCA pumps, feeding pumps, and all the necessary extras to restock the above in one compact location.  The hospital staff is no longer tripping over cords, dodging IV poles, or risking personal injury to care for their patients.  The Livengood platforms have been a great organizational asset on my unit.
