LIVENGOOD MEDICAL
SENDING MOBILE HOSPITAL CAPABILITY TO HAITI
Project C.U.R.E. to Provide Shipping |
FT. Collins, CO - January 22, 2010 (FPRC) – LIVENGOOD, a manufacturer of Medical Disaster Equipment, is accepting donations to ship mobile hospital Platforms to Haiti. The LIVENGOOD Platform provides a readily mobile infrastructure needed for the medical equipment and supplies found in a typical ER or ICU. This enables the conversion of any building, tent or open space into a patient care area with ease. Each compact Platform can provide care for up to two patients consolidating a ventilator, monitor/defibrillator, IV pumps, oxygen, suction, drains, medications, supplies, a procedure tray and light. With a function extending beyond the immediate needs of a disaster, the Platform can be integrated into the design of existing and new hospitals.
LIVENGOOD is partnering with Project C.U.R.E. to ship 20 Platforms to Haiti. Donations totaling $72,500 are sought to cover costs.
TO DONATE, please contact Ruth Lytle-Barnaby at the PVHS Foundation at (970) 237-7402 or click the PVHS logo and select "Livengood Fund" from the drop
down menu. All donations are tax-deductible.
